Ever heard of purple cherry tomatoes?
Our son said that these purple cherry tomatoes are delicious.
He had sampled some of them last summer so when he helped us set up our Topsy Turvy near the deck he suggested we try these.
I have never seen one of these but I have heard that the tomatoes can get very heavy so we thought that maybe the cherry tomatoes would work better.

So we put three plants in the bag and hope for the best.
So we will just see how this works.
I hope to be able to just step outside and water my tomatoes and then to just harvest them as they come along.

That looks like a fascinating way to grow tomatoes! Look forward to your report on the harvest results! Love those little cherry tomatoes but have never seen the purple!

No, never have. Hope that they are real pretty and real tasty, too.
I love purple tomatoes. They are really sweet. Last year I grew yellow tomatoes, it took my husband a while to get used to them not being red but he had to admit they were just as delicious.

I've seen them in heirloom seed catalogs, but have not found plants. It seems the older varieties have wonderful FLAVOR, and produce a lot, over hybridized size.
Will be anxious to see how yours do!
