Outdoor Wednesday.-in the country

Although these shrubs need trimming, I just love the colors in them.
This was after a rain the night before.

I like the colors of the petunias, coreopsis and barberry on the corner of the front porch.
The colors all blend in so well.

At our son's for Father's Day.
I knew that Honeymoon had just had a colt and John had said he was going to sell Honeymoon.

I went looking for the new colt but there was none.

Seems our son could not sell Honeymoon, he thought too much of her.
So he sold the colt instead of her.
She is a beauty.

Tomatoes doing great.
Keeping them off the dirt or the ground is the secret and away from critters.

Pink Saturday and more

Love Walmart's parking lot full of flowers.

When our granddaughter was expecting her first child and our first greatgrandchild she and her hubby had an an announcement party.
Expectant dad and mom invited us over for a party and he held a handful of blue balloons and she a handful of pink balloons.
Whichever sex their child was, the one holding the right color of balloons let them loose into the air.
They made us all wait and guess and tease us and when the blue balloons were released we all yelled and jumped for joy.
It was a fun time and a very creative way of announcing they were expecting a son.

He is two now and a most precious little boy.
Reminds me of Prince George.

What touhed my soul this week.

Soulful Friday
What touched my soul this week.
Words cannot describe how happy it makes me to see my flowers bloom out.
Purple Clematis

First white Clematis.
And look at the the future blooms. Hooray

Flowers from my daughter for Mother's Day.
Calla lilies

Remembering my mom who passed into eternal life in 1982. She had not known me for 4 years as a result of alzheimer's.

When I see her next she will remember me and I will rejoice in seeing her remembering me.

My mom at age 16.

Graham and Maxon

Strawberries and chocolate
Can't beat that.

According to the forecast a few more days of cool weather and then these last year photos will be current. The green is up but no blooms yet.
Just too cool for man or flowers here.

FSO-choices

Most things in our lives demands a choice
and those choices can make or break our life experiences.

Good choice...

based on

 bad choice.

Choices based on likes and dislikes

Choices based on availability.

Choices based on what we  like to eat.

Choices based on what we see.

We live our lives based on our choices.
