Deer ones be careful

Looking at some good weather in our neck of the woods this week.

Not an unusual  sight on my daily travels about our town.
Deer are so plentiful there are plans to thin them out when the time comes.
It can be a safety hazard on some of the roads to and from my house to several places.
I love to see them but I did hit one, or it seemed like he hit me, and totaled my car a few years ago.

FSO-Critters in our back yard

The strangest critter we have ever found in our backyard was a huge turtle that had escaped his collection barrel in our neighbor's yard.

I cannot find the picture but it was about 12 inches in diameter.

HH took it to town and gave it to some friends who love to cook and eat turtle meat.
Our neighbor found out about it and went to get the turtle back.
He was saving it for a big turtle eating cookout.

Here are the usual critters in our back yard.
These a sneaky little critters, they can move so fast.

This one sure blends in.

Black Swallowtail Butterfly.

These are gone for another year.

Between our yard and our neighbor's.

Mosaic Monday and spring is all around us and we are saying goodbye to winter.

I love to look up and see blooms and blue sky.
Cherry
Pear
It just me a great feeling of freedom and being able to open the doors and windows and feel the fresh air.
And then I sneeze.
But it is well worth it.

I love all the activity and sounds of the coming up season.
Makes me feel grateful to be alive.

Go here and visit Mary and all her
Mosaic Monday
friends.

It is hard to believe the last few days have been the last days of winter 2012.
