Share the Joy Thursday and Tea Talk with Ruth and friends.

Well it is a good thing.
Today and in fact this entire week has been full of challenges.
No big ones until today.
Our A/C completely froze up.
About 1 inch of frost on the coils.
Whose fault
Ours
Failed to have it checked for the year.
Well anyway and to top that off our
A/C man's messages have completely filled his phone and no way to reach him.

We are pretty sure why that is.

So thanks to Meri I will look to something that brings me joy.

Working on my painting I started on Monday.
Since we no longer have our fish pond, no longer any lily pads around.
So I will have one on canvas as soon as we finish it next week.
I so enjoy my painting class.
Great teacher, fun class mates and coming away with a feeling of accomplishment.
Great joy.

Having........Lemon Zinger Tea in my dainty china cup. Love that lemon zing.

Feeling.........so grateful that furnace is not completely zapped.

Thinking.......How great is his to find some joys in a bad situation. HH and I are so worried we are going to have to replace out furnace and how upset we were at first. After taking a few deep breathes and realizing we will deal with it whatever comes up, just as we always have.
While working with the furnace situation, I found my watercolor pencils I thought I had lost and because it is probably going to be really hot on the downstairs tonight without A/C housekeeper and I decided to move my bedroom upstairs (the second floor has it's own A/C).
This is something I have wanted to do for some time and just needed the push.

Blessings to all our friends.

Share the Joy Thursday.

I am feeling so much better today than yesterday.
That in itself gives me much joy and to get to share my joy.
Thank goodness for opportunities to visit with blogger buddies and support each other in our everyday joyous adventure through life.

I have plans to be with two beautiful grands this weekend and sure did not want to be feeling ill.

What joy these beautiful grands have brought us.
Two of the 11 we have been blessed with.

Go here to share some more joy on this beautiful
Thursday.

Having.......my regular Maxwell House coffee in my everyday coffee cup along with Ruth and our friends.

Thinking.........Looking forward to the weekend with 2 grands.
One in her school play and the other in a celebration receiving her senior ring.

Feeling........How blessed our family is in so many ways.
Hard times have come and go over the years but the good times always out-weigh the bad. They may not seem like it at the time but they do.

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."

Here to share with Ruth and friends.

Having,,,,,,decaf coffee in a white tea cup.
Just thinking ,,,,,,,about spending time with my family gives me much joy.
Feeling........ like the luckiest mom and grand in the world.

Celebrating a beautiful granddaughter 's birthday is always a fun time.
We have been doing this for years and as the grands get older they choose more fine dining as opposed to MacDonald's when they were little.

Doing a little hand crafting too.

These were made from vintage wooden spools that had belonged to my mother.

I recently found them in her old sewing box.

I painted them blue and glued the candle holders on then trimmed them in blue, green and yellow for Easter.
They were my gift for my gd making them her great grand mother's vintage spools.
Of course these cannot be bought anymore.
She loved them.

Share the Joy and Tea Talk with Ruth

Joy
There is always something to inspire joy and it is so true that one must be aware to those inspirations.
Sometime the pain can yell louder than the joy.
It is our choice which yell we hear.
As I mentioned in yesterday's post I went for my 3 month DM check up.
I said I did not expect any surprises.
I knew my fingersticks were a little higher and I had gained back 10 lbs of the 20 I had lost.
I was on no meds. just control with diet.
Well surprise my AC1 was good.
Had been elevated a little during Thanksgiving and Christmas but leveled out.
No need for meds. per my MD.
Surprise------- my BP was pretty high.
First check up since new Rx for the PVCs and BP.
I knew I was out of breath when I got there.
I had walked fast on purpose for the exercise.
I will just monitor my BP at home.

My Joy at learning I am doing pretty good for a new learning to live as a diabetic, is what I want to share today.

Having .....Passion, Herbal infusion caffeine free by
TAZO in my favorite china cup with pink roses on it.

Feeling.......relieved about my good check-up yesterday and that Rebecca is feeling better.
When I first started blogging I was drawn to an online Christian group of women and it has been a blessings ever since.
As I moved through the blogesphere I found  life minded folks from every walk of life and culture, adding to the amazing mode of communication.

The sharing, compassion and downright caring among every one I love to visit with is beyond any expectation I could ever imagined.

There are many caring and faith sharing men in that list too.
Living to care and caring to live.
