Sunlit Sunday

 Finally, at last, signs of spring in our backyard.

A future tulip.

This is  all that is left after we took our Koi Pond out. Wish we still had it, but too much work to keep nice. We could not keep it maintained so it is better that it is gone, rather than worrying about it.

Our little human burst of sunlight.

Let the sunshine through.

One evening this week we sit down to dinner at about 6:00 PM and the sun was so bright in my eyes we had to put the shades down so I could eat.

For months it had been dark by 6:00 PM.

This was a wonderful feeling to see daylight this late in the day.

Yes the days are definitely getting longer.

 It will be spring before long.

I love the light shinning through the cobalt blue of my bottles on the windowsill.

We will be doing Sunlit Sunday until the end of this month.

Got no sunshine at my place

No sunshine most of the week here.

Memories of sunny times.

 Me and daughter on Jet Ski at Cumberland Lake a few summers ago.

We were all there on their houseboat. 

This was my first time to ride the Jet Ski and she let me drive.

I was at least 70 years old.

Never to old to have fun.

Looks like Max doesn't want Graham in but they 

both ended up getting into the TV cabinet.

Nothing lights up a Sunday like spending time with our 2 ggsons.

Max and Graham, especially with the sun shining into the room makes for a great Sunlit Sunday.

Sunlit Sunday The sunlight of happy memories.

Finished this afghan past Christmas and laid it out over my grandmother's rocking chair to get a shot of.

Just noticed the sun shining on the arm of the chair.

I sit down in this rocker sometimes and just rock and rock and remember what it was like to
be rocked by some one who loves you.

This is one of my most prized possessions.

Sunlit Sunday- Sun shine taking the snow away.

I don't know if 10 inches of snow has slowed my computer down or not, but earlier I could not get my Sunday Post done.

It is finally warming up some.

With the deck door open the indoor flowers are getting a good dose of sunshine.

 It has lessened about 2 inches from this lounge chair yesterday and today.

The path on the deck hubby made so he can get to the bird feeders.

I took the fresh air for a while today and the sun is a great healer.

I know the purpose of Sunlit Sunday is to get away from the snow and cold but when the sun is shining on the snow and icicles, nothing is more beautiful.

This too will pass.

On my ride to my volunteer job I saw the most beautiful scenes of ice on the trees with the sun shinning through.

 The ice looked like diamonds on the tree.

The shot did not get the look I wanted so enhanced it with the stars from PicMonkey.

But that is real sunshine.

Rained all night and dreary day.
