Outdoor Wednesday around our house.

Happy Birthday sweet
Holly with sister Hannah and Papaw and Mamaw
2nd from left.

Lilies among the yard art.

Can you believe this squirrel half way into this bird feeder.

Just waiting to see if he gets all the way down and can't get out.
Didn't happen. Agile little critter.

Finally fresh picked Hydrangia in my mother's pewter tea pot.

Outdoor Wednesday. Horse farms, white water rafting.

One small stable on this horse farm.

Our son and his friends swap and breed
Tennessee Walkers on these lands.

Our son, on the front left, with his wife and son and daughter
white water rafting.
I love to watch them.
Grand here is just a little to old.
Wish I had done it when I was way younger.
Granddaughter Abby hanging with them, behind her dad, but moma Wendy just hanging on.
Notice she has the guide right behind her.
I give her credit for wanting to make this a family memory.
Love Wendy

Outdoor Wednesday- January snows are here.

Well we have been warned and waiting for snow for about 2 weeks.
Finally the first snow  of 2016.
It is beautiful.
I am thankful I do not have to go out in it.
Hubby will take his 4wheel drive and have a blast.

I am checking on all our family to see how they are faring out there.

Thank goodness hubby took care of the bird feeders last night.

I use this lounge chair on the deck to gauge the amount of accumulation.

It is snowing pretty heavily again now.

I scared all the birds off when I stepped out on the deck.

They will be back I am sure.

Everyone have a safe day.
