....carpe diem. The Daylily. "Be like the flower, turn your face to the sun." Khalil Gibran. She gives her all for just one day then bows her head to God and fades away to nourish the next generation. God I pray I may give my all each day to honor you and bow my head at the end to nourish the next generation. Peggy Jones. NOTE............ Lilies among the yard art.

Can you believe this squirrel half way into this bird feeder.

Didn't happen. Agile little critter.

Finally fresh picked Hydrangia in my mother's pewter tea pot.

Pink Saturday and all flowers blooming.

Pink Saturday and summer in full force.

Our tomatoes are coming on all all our flowers are blooming now.
Love it

After a good pruning Knockout Roses coming on new growth.

Love our lilies.
Planted four of these 17 years ago when we moved into this house to represent our 4 daughter.
They have come up every year.

Planted a flower to represent everyone in the family.
These are the only ones still coming up.

Saturday March 19th 2011
Super Moon

We will share this Day of the Lord.

They are the first flowers to appear in our landscape this year.

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin.

Matthew 6:28

These are the first flowers I so enjoyed setting out on Saturday.
Dear God I thank you for the gift of flowers and of better health today.
