Pink Saturday and more

Love Walmart's parking lot full of flowers.

When our granddaughter was expecting her first child and our first greatgrandchild she and her hubby had an an announcement party.
Expectant dad and mom invited us over for a party and he held a handful of blue balloons and she a handful of pink balloons.
Whichever sex their child was, the one holding the right color of balloons let them loose into the air.
They made us all wait and guess and tease us and when the blue balloons were released we all yelled and jumped for joy.
It was a fun time and a very creative way of announcing they were expecting a son.

He is two now and a most precious little boy.
Reminds me of Prince George.

Linking up with Pink Saturday

Thanks for your visit to my blog, Peggy.

Your little great-grandson sure is a cutie. I look forward to the day I become a grandma. My daughter got married last October, and children are a couple years off, but I am definitely looking forward to it.

I love all the creative ideas folks come up with for disclosing the sex of their baby.

Hi Peggy, I love your story of the announcement of your great grandson. He does have the look of a little prince. The cutest face ever. We do adore our grands so much. I have heard of the reveal parties before. How fun it that? Something we never could do that's for sure.

I too love Pink Saturday. We were on a garden tour all day with my garden club so I am way behind in visiting. I took enough photos today to last a year of blogging. HA! These days it seems I am always playing catch up.

Thank you for your visit and your kind comment about my lily photos.
xo,
Jeanne

Hi Peggy, nice to meet you, thank you for stopping by my blog today! Your grandson is so handsome, when I was expecting our sons, we didn't even know what the gender was until they were born! Very few women had ultrasounds then, and only if there were problems. I think I like knowing, on the other hand, you got a surprise after all the work of labor!

The flowers at Walmart are just gorgeous, I don't know where in the country you reside, but it sure is green and beautiful!

Have a lovely week!
