Thursday, Thursday, its a good day.

Thursday, Thursday, its a good day.

Happy Birthday to the number one man in my life.
A great dad, granddad and a loving husband of 52 years.

One of my favorite photos of him

One day when I was out looking for good shots I found a group of squirrels around the trees.
Of course the squirrels were too fast for me as they just flitted around all the trees.
I made a few shots, not too impressed with any of them as I checked them on my camera.

When I got home and was able to enlarge them I found this.

I could hardly believe it.
I went to Picnik and finally came up with
this.

Now this is a simple thing but I was so filled with joy to have captured this neat photo that I just wanted to share it with you.
Doesn't take much to make me happy and bring joy into my life.

Having.........black tea with lemon in my favorite china tea cup.

Thinking...........I am so glad I did not plant any annuals this past week, which I wanted to do to have for Easter Sunday.
The temps here in my neck of the woods has gotten down to 32 degrees for several mornings.
I would have had to bring every single pot and basket into my garage or house if I had planted them.
Easter was so early this year that things seem just a little out of order.
But nature just does her own thing.

Feeling........A little apprehensive about a possible big snow storm in late April.Decided I prefer Easter later in the year.

Brings up the question
How is the date for Easter Sunday determined each year.

How is the date for Easter determined?

The short answer. Easter falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the Spring Equinox.
Ah Ha.

And he departed from our sight that we might return to our heart, and there find Him. For He departed, and behold, He is here.

Happy birthday to your beloved. 52 years of marriage! WOW! God bless you both.

I agree that the world is a bit not in order. I just heard from my SIL in Japan that people are missing the cherry blossoms which supposed to be in bloom in before April. she had to buy a new gas heater because it's still very cold in her province.

Have a pleasant day. Keep warm.

Good afternoon! I'm visiting via Ruth's Tea Talk this afternoon, a little late! That picture of your dad is precious.

We were very warm here in Chicagoland in March, but are now experiencing normal temperatures (meaning chilly!). But snow? My, oh my. Spring will come, never fear!

Have a beautiful day!!
