Sunlit Sunday
Two of my most favorite things.
Sunshine and citrus fruit.
That grapefruit looks good enough to eat.
Good enough to try to paint. Shadows, highlights all the things I need practice on.

This is my 2nd week of joining
Sunlit Sunday and I have enjoyed all my visits to other sites.
I found myself looking for sunlit shots all week.
Lifts the spirits to spot the sun coming in.
Blogging has gotten me to be more observant and appreciative of all things around me and have I ever learned a lot.
But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life, and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine.

Go here and find you some more sunshine.

Ah, so you're a painter! How wonderful, Peggy. Not having that talent, I'm thinking how I'd like the grapefruit for breakfast!
I'm so glad you enjoyed visiting the posts in Sunlit Sunday last week and that you have returned today. I understand what you mean about becoming more observant as a blogger.

I love citrus fruits too
and more importantly Sunshine
but we don't get too much of it in Ireland at this time of year!
Great photos with sunshine and shadows.
I hope that you have a sunlit week.
Cheers
Fiona
Hi Peggy
Your sunlit fruit looks delicious and a challenge to paint with all the shadows for sure.
I agree with your thoughts on blogging; I've met some of the nicest women and have an open mind to so many new things.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Judith
great sunlit photos for this week
Love the way the light plays with these photos. They will be fun for you to draw! ;-)
Beautiful pics...I'm sorry I missed doing this today. Was on retreat yesterday and when I got home I just reflected on the day and it's joy! Thank you for sharing!!! Cathy
Citrus fruit is rather sunny, isn't it? It's my favorite fruit and I don't care what kind. Oranges, grapefruit, lemons, limes...love them all, but especially the beautiful blood oranges found in the dead of winter only. I adore them for their color and flavor. They look beautiful in a salad.
