Friday Shoot Out-Theme Yellow

Yes today is Friday Shoot Out and the theme is
yellow.
What in your town is yellow.

Forsythia at the back entrance of this once flourishing horse farm.

A REALLY yellow house.

A yard full of daffodils.

Bardstown Baptist Church
with spring wreaths on the front door.
Yellow mechanical work horses all over town.
A new Cracker Barrel restaurant being built in our town
near the interstate of course.
Calls for new road entrances and exits.
Oodles of yellow bags after shopping in Dollar General Store.

My all time favorite yellow house in our town with manicured forsythia bushes.

The universal yellow strip in front of the fire hydrant.
All over town.
Things are beginning to spring to life in town and yellow is the first color for sure.

Go here for more Friday Shoot Out.

Enjoy

You found some wonderful yellows! I like the strip and the forsythia and I agree that wax paper should always be smart and simple. I tried some of the dumb complicated wax paper and the food spoiled.

I love the yellow house, I debated painting our little cottage yellow but am just not a yellow person. Great photos as usual.

I love how you always find such a variety of shots for our topics. I always wonder why I never notice things as much as you do! Love the spring wreaths on the church doors.

What a lovely town you have - and an observant eye for all things yellow - lello as one of our kids used to say when they were toddler!

You take great pictures! I'm just looking out at the park 'n ride for a light rail transit and I see a lot of yellow cars - which I had not expected. I'd really love to see the daffy's and the forsythias up here too, but that will have to wait a while - a long while - like over 6 six weeks I'm sure!

Thanks for sharing all your lovely photos!

Our forsythia bushes have not gone into bloom yet... They're a wonderful beginning to spring aren't they.

Great variety of shots. I really like the wreaths on the door of the church. The yellow jusst pops right out as if it is saying welcome, come inside and warm up.

I can match your first three photos for Mellow Yellow. it is interesting to see your Spring colour is at a very similar stage to ours.

You always find such neat things to fit each theme. I loooove the yellow forsythia! Got a kick out of the yellow strip in front of the fire hydrant. I think everytown in the USA has Yellow Stipes on the curbs! That's a good think though....very observant! Well done on Yellow!
