Oh the fun of Magpie Tales.
I have been putting this one off.
Time to get started.
What You Don't See
I picked this apple off the tree
Had an experiment I wanted to see.
You see the bite, you see the spot.
What you don't see
Is my new false teeth lying on the ground in front of me.
So much for an apple a day keeps doctor away, but not the dentist.
(BYW this is just fiction.
I am old as dirt and so are all my original teeth.)
Go here for other Magpie Tales and maybe you might want to join in.

This post is so cute Peggy. You haven't been showing up on my reader but I was lonesome for you so thought I would pop over and here are your post. Don't know what is happening with Reader, I hope I am not missing too many of my friends post.....:-) Hugs
This is very humorous, not funny! Hoping there was no damage to your dentures! Cathy

Mine is up.

Nice one : you made me laugh on a dull rainy morning.
Uh-oh!! You know, I knocked out my front teeth when I was three. The dentist made a little retainer for me with four false teeth, to wear until my permanent teeth grew in. I enjoyed scaring kids by flipping it out!
You better have your own teeth! You are not that old.
Debbie

I'm laughing! Cleverly done. Glad it's untruthful!
