Mosaic Monday a walk for joy

Mosaic Monday

Friday I took a walk after I had finished my volunteer hours at my appointed place and what joy in all I saw around.
The squirrels under the trees.
Chasing each other.
Ornamental grasses near the lake in the field.
The Blue skies peeking through.
What a beautiful day to be grateful for safe places to walk and enjoy nature.

Christmas Button Ornament Swap Thanksgiving challenge and a couple of other mimis

Just found a fun Christmas swap.
Go here and read all about it and join in if you want to.

Thanksgiving Challenge
Day #3

I love the changing of seasons and I love living in a four seasons climate.
The gifts of each season are enormous.
But you have to look for them.
After the hard frost we had a few days ago, I discovered this in the area where my fishpond and waterfall had been.
I had a beautiful Clematis climbing up behind the waterfall which had been cut down, so I thought.

Blooms hanging on protected by a nearby Japanese Maple and Oak trees.

A touch of summer still hanging on.

The struggle of nature to hang on coupled with the
protection of community. Reminds me of Jesus' plan for his church.

I then went out to bring in the newspaper. Just before daylight.
HH had left his car in the driveway and it was covered with frost.

I am thankful for the gifts of nature and find joy in the simplest of these.

Hooking up with

Having........Hot, steaming, Maxwell House coffee

In......My regular coffee cup
Feeling..........Better than yesterday and the 4 days before.

Thinking.......This has got to be the worse virus attack I have ever had.
Grateful........That it is gradually going away. Slow, but it is going away. I hope far away into the wild blue yonder and will bother no one else.

Gotta love the small things
while at  the same time disliking the slowness of my computer this AM.

Mosaic Monday -A new day _ Jingle Poetry

Mosaic Monday
with
Mary

This is what I see each morning when I awake and look outside my bedroom window.

That is if the sun is shining.
The beauty of nature itself, makes life worth living.

Life in Freesytle

Wonder

Feels like I'm floating cause I'm so sleepy.
Been reading about mushrooms and must have inhaled some while on the Rio Negro.

While searching for Anders and little boy Easter and Dr. Swenson I was in another world.
How can a word on a page do that?

The miracle of imagination that is what it is.
What a wonderful would to be free to read whatever I like.
