Let the sunshine through.

One evening this week we sit down to dinner at about 6:00 PM and the sun was so bright in my eyes we had to put the shades down so I could eat.

For months it had been dark by 6:00 PM.
This was a wonderful feeling to see daylight this late in the day.
Yes the days are definitely getting longer.
It will be spring before long.

I love the light shinning through the cobalt blue of my bottles on the windowsill.

We will be doing Sunlit Sunday until the end of this month.

Like you, Peggy, I'm enjoying the longer light-filled days. There can be a coziness to a long, dark winter's night, but I'm loving more light in the morning and evening. The cobalt blue bottles are gleaming with the sun shining through them. It's such a pretty colour!

Beautiful sunlight and the cobalt blue The bottle! The days are getting longer here too. I look forward to seeing sakura in full bloom soon in Japan.

Thank you for this lovely post! It is indeed wonderful to notice how the days are getting longer and brighter. :)
Where I live, it's almost dark at 6 pm now, but we are going towards the splendid weeks at the end of June when it will not be dark even at night.
Have a happy and Sunlit Sunday!
