Well today the sun is shining.
The snow shovels casting a shadow on the house in hopes of soon going into the garage.
Maybe leaving them out in anticipation is bad luck.

Being optimistic, the sun shining on one of our flower pot holders.
In anticipation ...........of spring and summer.
The backyard shovel.
Easter is early this year and I have seen it snow on many an Easter Sunday.
All new outfits and too cold to wear. LOL
What ever comes we handle it.

Ah! The expectation of a warm Easter Day to wear your new Easter bonnet perhaps - what a lovely thought!
Well you're ready for action with the planter and the spade - good luck and fingers crossed for warm Spring days ahead!

Spring is coming, but it is always good to be prepared ... !
That's funny about the Easter outfits and so true. We live in Washington state now but growing up in Southern California we never had an issue with the nice new Spring frocks for Easter!
Nice post...
Have a great week.
Not just yet!
I'd keep that shovel out, if I were you! As you said - there have been many snowy Easter Sundays, and this year Easter is a bit early.
Weather can be so fickle. Keeping the shovel handy might be a good idea! I remember snow storms on Easter, too, but not recently.
Our snow shovels hang in the same place all year round, so there's no feeling of taking a chance. Putting away mittens and scarves though ... I don't think I'll do that final wash just yet ;) Your planters look so pretty, and I'll bet you can't wait to have them all filled again!

I'm keeping my shovel at the ready and, according to the weather forecast, it may be needed tomorrow morning! Have a lovely week, with or without snow.
