Fences either are built to keep things in or out.
They are also built for their beauty.
This is Beautiful Dreamer B&B in our town across from the street from
My Old Kentucky Home
where Stephen Foster wrote
many of his songs.
Beautiful Dreamer being one.
I Dream of Jeannie With the Light Brown Hair
being the one this is named after.
I had shown this fence in an earlier post and the original start of this fence was done by slaves.
Thank goodness the fence in front of the B&B is fairly new, built to go with the neighborhood and not by slaves.
Linking up
Have a great week-end.

Very nice! And your banner is gorgeous! I showed it to my hubby. We have a lot of horses here but never see them running across a snow covered field! WOW!
Very beautiful fences and wonderful photos!
Happy Weekend to you ^_^

Happy Weekend to you ^_^
This is just beautiful and I'm partial to stone walls. Your header shot is breathtaking!!
Absolutely grand fences!
I always have to think of the saying: good fences make for good neighbors. I love the photos you posted. It looks truly gorgeous. And thank you for reminding me of Stephen Foster's beautiful songs! xoxo Silke
Loving the names of these places and their grand fences. Wonder how long it took to stack those stones in that first shot.

Lovely post for Good Fences. Lovely places too.
Very pretty, especially in the snow! I love Stephen Foster. We have a state park on the banks of the Suwannee River named for him here in Florida which has a beautiful bell carillon that plays all of his famous songs throughout the day.
Whoa! This is the coolest fence. :)
Thank you for your visit and kind comments. I have never experienced snow and I enjoyed your snowy photo. Both are great stone fences. I am following you now and I invite you to follow me too. Thank you.
What a beautiful place rich in heritage and standing in snow. The rock wall stands a testament to the quality work done by slaves...a reminder of a bad time in our history.
