Finished this afghan past Christmas and laid it out over my grandmother's rocking chair to get a shot of.
Just noticed the sun shining on the arm of the chair.
I sit down in this rocker sometimes and just rock and rock and remember what it was like to
be rocked by some one who loves you.

Sweet memories and lovely afghan! Happy SunLit Sunday!
Thank you for this beautiful and heart-warming post! The afghan looks so soft and comfortable, and the rocking chair is a real treasure. And your header image is amazing as well. :)
Have a blessed Sunday and a great week ahead!
Wonderful afghan and such wonderful memories for you when you use the rocking chair. I'm visiting from Sunlit Sunday.
A beautiful rocker for sure. Hope you have a good week.
Awww, this is a beautiful photo of the afghan over the rocking chair. Such gentle memories. I have my mother's rocking chair, and she had it always by the tall kitchen window where she would sit and rock keeping an eye on supper as it cooked, often with either knitting or the Bible in her hands. She could keep a lookout for my dad coming home, and also there were many tearful stories she listened to as we sat on her lap and she rocked away.

What a lovely way to spend a few moments - rocking and remembering. Your afghan is beautiful.
What a treasure, to have your grandmother's rocking chair. Your afghan looks so very cozy and is very pretty on the rocker. It does look like an inviting place to sit and remember caring people.
