Sunlit Sunday. Let the sun shine

Sure glad this meme is here today.
No sunshine in my neck of the woods.
Rained all night and dreary day.

Another thing I like about Sunlit Sunday meme it keeps me on the look out for sunny shots all during the week.
So thanks to Karen of My Little Home and Garden for this fun blog party.

 My dining room chair.

I love joining blog parties for several reasons.
Sometime the themes overlap and some good shots emerge when looking around.

Textures, one of my favorite things to aim for. Just add the sunshine and wala Sunlit Sunday.

Another view of the dining room chairs.

Go here to share more sunshine.

I love sunshine in the house (except when it shows me all the dust I overlooked...). I bought some yellow flowers today for the same reason - we've had awfully gray weather for a while now. But today the sun is coming back - inside and out, and not a moment too soon!! xoxo Silke

Beautiful to see the sun on the textured chair seat. Hope you will see more sunshine in the coming week.

Sometimes it's a bit of a search - but it's worth it to find that little bit of sunshine. I hope the sun shines where you are this week.

I'm the same way, Peggy, looking for the sunny moments during the week because they can be a bit scarce.

The texture of your chair is set off very nicely by the sunshine. I can almost feel it!

Thanks for bringing some light from your part of the world to Sunlit Sunday and have a wonderful week!

Little bits of sunshine sometimes bring the greatest pleasure.

Happy Sunday. We had a brilliant sky this morning and then it all sort of went gray and was just rather blah after that. It's lovely when sunlight filters through the windows and bathes everything in light. Surely, if there's a cat around, they would find just that right spot where the sun shines through. :) Best wishes, Tammy

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I love caned chairs. I have a caned seat ladder back chair Thai I inherited from my parents.

Hi Peggy,

So nice to meet you!

Your chair, having already seated the sunlight, seems even more inviting, covered in the brightness of its warmth.

Have a wonderful week!

Beautiful texture and light in your photos. It's so wonderful when the sun slants in and illuminates something in the house. I'm noticing that these days, too. Hope your week is sunny.
