All kinds of family activity this week-end with 2 grands moving into their college dorm this week-end.
I can't believe they are grown up.
I have to keep busy with crafts, arts and blogging to keep from missing them just knowing they are away from home, although not far.
Santa wineglass candle holder.
First wipe your wineglass with alcohol then base coat with white enamel or glass paints.
Sketch a hat and face on the glass.
Base coat the face with skin tone paint.
Decide where you want his hat to fall and paint the glass and stem with green or red.
Mix black and white to the color grey you like.
Start at the edge of the cap and cover the entire lower part of glass with long curvy strokes front and back.
Paint cap with dab on strokes to fill in brim around the cap.
Add a darker pink to show the red blush of the face.
Add short grey stokes to eyelashes and mustache.
Any size wineglass will work.
In fact I plan to do about 5 different sized for a grouping for Christmas.

That's a cute idea for an odd glass out, which I do happen to have. What I don't have is any talent for painting. Your Santa has a lovely twinkle in his eye.
