Share the JOY Thursday

Little things mean a lot.

Have 4 herbs growing on my deck.

This is Chocolate Mint, so called because the stems are chocolate brown.

A few springs of lavender, which reminds me of my mom, one of my cobalt blue bottles and a conch shell from Florida.

These are in my kitchen window just over my sink and I get to rejoice in them each day.
Sometimes I say my morning prayers over my sink looking out this window.

JOY
is one of the first feelings of my day.
Which brings on feelings of gratitude to my God for all my blessings.

I always say prayers of gratitude while looking out my kitchen window. So much beauty out there! I hope I'll not miss the view too much in my new home.

Peggy, you almost had me fall off my chair, when I read Chocolate Mint...I got so excited and said outloud, OH my gosh, this would taste awesome! Then I read why it was called this...sigh.LOL!

It's awful pretty in that pot. I like the vague scent of chocolate and mint when rubbing my hands over the top of it. Is that just my imagination?

Peggy, what a lovely sentiment. I, also love the mornings, and as it says in Psalm 30, "...Joy comes in the morning." So it's the perfect time for prayer. I think kitchen windows are grand.

Blessings,

Marianne
