White on white-Theme FSO

Theme
White on White

Getting your whites white...
and I am not talking about the laundry.

White Balance (WB) in photography has to do with the accuracy of color in your image.
You might notice an image has a blue or orange cast to it..
for example the white snow might look bluish.
If you increase saturation,
you will increase the color casts as well.
Rebecca

I found the setting on my camera.
The snow on the pot is white and the snow not shaded is white.
Hope this is it.

The snow on the roof is not real white but is shaded. Wonder if that makes a difference.

Seems as if my photos did not show up at first hope this gets it.

I miss Barry too and Ginger and B&B and Pauline come on back when you are ready.

White isn't so simple after all...

I use the saturation just a bit to enhance the photos of my jewelry. Thanks for the tips. The side of the garage in your photo sure stands out.

Great job. The whites look white! And snow is difficult. You encourage me to keep writing tutorials! :)

I love that first photo! the white looks perfectly white and the snow looks like tiny little flowers being scattered there. Gorgeous.

You are such a good student, Peggy, no wonder Rebecca is proud of you! Love the first shot, as well as illustrating the white of the snow it is a nice shot by itself.
