Praise the Lord with song and food. Alleluia

One of our favorite TV shows has always been
The Andy Griffith Show.

Of course it is all re-runs now, but there is one line that
Barney had that this family will never forget.

"I can't talk to you any more Andy, I done ten-foured you."

So what brought this to mind?

I have a friend who routinely does the hard cleaning for me.

She has been with me since I broke my back a few years ago and have 2 store-bought knees.

So my house is clean.

But because I prefer to do any art work at my kitchen table, rather than in my studio which is upstairs, that table is always covered with supplies I need, all my brushes, ribbons, buttons etc.

I prefer to work at that table because when I am in the house by myself,  I can see the front and back entrances to our home.
I really need to make space for a studio downstairs, but that is another story unto itself.

HH and I laugh that we have to make a spot to eat our meals everyday.
He doesn't really mind, but jokes all the time about my hoarding.

You all know, otherwise, called stash.

So once I clean off that table for a special holiday, like Easter, no more art work.

According to my timetable to get everything ready for a large group of loved ones, today is my day to clean off that table.

The dining room table is already decluttered.

So no ideas or urges to do art until after Sunday.
done ten-foured that, so that is that.

Now that empty vase in the second photo is waiting for my home-grown tulips which will not arrive in time, unless they can make it in three days.
Last year at this time.

Just look at that date on those photos.

Well Friday or Saturday I will visit our local Kroger store and find some Easter flowers.
I take such JOY in having my family all together every effort is worth it.

I am even going to make Angel Biscuits, like I used to years ago. Will they ever be surprised.
Angel biscuits and Ky. home cured ham.
Yum, yum JOY.

I just spent 3 hours cleaning and honestly I don't feel like I did a thing because there's still so much that needs to be done. Ugh! I just can't do it all. Most people here have maids but I just can't bring myself to have someone else clean my house. I've had to tidy up because a friend is coming in from Lebanon for the weekend so we have plans the next three days. Wishing you and your loved ones a very special family Easter. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

would be great to have a studio, and leave yoour work without having to pack them away.

Your table sounds a lot like mine except that I don't paint. I also determined that today was the day for cleaning it off in time for Easter dinner. ( Don't tell anyone that it landed on the kitchen table.)

I know how you feel wanting to work somewhere where there are people around, rather than in a space tucked away in a corner isolated. Keep on working in the kitchen, your work is so lovely, it must add to the pleasure of your meals!

Your guests will be so well-cared for -- my mouth is watering just thinking of the angel biscuits. A little butter, maybe some clover honey and yum!

Dear Peggy, I just can't get over how much you have overcome and yet do so much. I'm humbled. Lately I've been getting messages through stories such as yours that it's time for me to start doing more with my own opportunities. Thank you for the continued inspiration. Blessed Easter.
