Friday shoot my town- Weather

What is your climate like?
Do you experience hurricanes, tornadoes or monsoons?
Or do you enjoy endless sunny days?
Show us!

In Central Kentucky
we have it all

Icy fingers from an Ice storm

Broken tree due to the wind

Chilly nights make a beautiful autumn

Churning atmosphere up above cause hard hitting hail down below.

Snow and wind make for nasty winters.

Spring rains and sun bring the early flowers.

Right on the edge of tornado alley.

We have it all and just go with the flow.

Go here for FSO

The first photo simply blew me away, such a pretty sight but I can't stand the coldness. Only had a chance to experience snow during overseas holidays but only for under 10days,can't last too long as I can't really stand the coldness, can really feel it through my thin bone!!!

Fortunately we have no tornado's here (Netherlands) but rain, sleet, snow, storm and beautiful clouds, we have it all. Love your pictures, you only have to look outside to see it all! Thanks.

Well done! Since we're in the same "latitude" these are pictures with which I can identify!!! Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend! Will be off this evening!! Keep me in your prayers as I do you! Cathy

No, we do not get the wide variety of weather that you do. A tornado in our corner happens, but very rarely. The worst storms are the hurricanes and blizzards.

We have it all too. I like having the seasons.

You get it all!! Love the stormy clouds.

We get pretty much the full variety of seasons and weather too.

They say that variety is the spice of life.

As we travel around the country, we would love to see Kentucky. However, winter might be too much, and summer has the tornados.
What are we to do?
Great photos!!!

Yes, you do have it all and have great pics to prove it. Oddly enough we've had it all where I live this year and that is so unusual. Usually we can count on each day being brilliantly clear and sunny for endless days in a row. This year, not so much.

We get all of that weather, too. Ice, rain, summer storms, tornados, occasional remnants of tropical rain storms, winter storms, thunder-snow (which is impressive) and a smattering of beautiful days. Today it's gorgeous. 72 degrees with no humidity and not a cloud in the sky. In a word? Perfect!

When I lived in Tennessee, the weather was pretty much the same as yours! I love variety!

Thanks for the peek at your year round weather. I really like your snow and wind shot. We don't get snow so it always captivates me.

I loved your approach - if I were take four photos of weather year around here I would have sun / rain / sun / rain. I think I like "the snow and wind across the trees' the best - it looks cold and depict the change from one weather to the next.... great shoot-out.
