Yesterday I took a step toward my goal of getting and staying in better health.
After two years of struggling with possible heart problems, learning about living with diabetes, etc, I am now free to join a fitness club.
Humana offers a program called Silver Sneakers and since we have that the beautiful new facility in town
Anytime Fitness
is now initiating that program.
The JOY that I felt yesterday from the simple start-up workout I had is what I want to share today.
There was another fitness center in my town that offered that program but I did not feel comfortable there.
Sorry, an old lady needs a little TLC when needing motivation to exercise, just ask Maxine.
Surprisingly I have less sore muscles today than I was expecting.
A toast to the expertise of the trainer that I worked with.
I love her already.
Go here to share other JOY moments.

I'll tell you the same thing that I told Kim this morning: I'm throwing rose petals along your path of self-nurture. I'm proud of you!
That's wonderful, Peggy. I think you're onto something...TLC works well for a lot of us. Don't be barking and yelling at us thank you very much.
I'm so happy for you, my sister who turned 74 this year started exercise about a year ago. They started seated in a chair first, now she gets on the floor, has lost a stone in weight and looks so much better, good health to you! x
Good for you! It's not easy to do what you are doing....I just can't, yet.....I hate excercise, but lord knows I need it....maybe I will be inspired by you...
That's great. Getting exercise isn't easy to do anymore, so I'm glad you've found a way.
