Love to see a dream come true-Share the Joy

Our son has had a dream come true.

Our second son has been an animal lover since he was a very small child.

When we lived in the country and he was about 6 years old we would see him in the field on all fours following along with the cows.
I would tell HH to go get him and HH said no leave him alone he knows exactly where he is and what he is doing.
When he was about 8 years old we got him a pony that he named Betsy.
When he was 13 we left the country and we had to sell his pony. It almost killed him.
We tried every way we knew to find a way to bring the pony with us to our new home but it could not happen. He had almost outgrown the pony anyway.
He managed to become friends with several horse owners around the area and had many chances to ride their horses and said.

"One day I am going to have plenty of room and a barn and my own horses. I will have a tin roof on my house too."

Over the years he went to college, got married, had children all the while adding to his acreage and got his own horse to ride, Honeymoon and then added two more.
This past week his new barn was finished and we had a look at his dream come true.

The back deck with the new roof showing.

The back of the house from the first field.

The new barn

Stalls and tack room to the left.
Hay already in the loft.

Stalls to be finished this week.

Plenty room for kids and horses.

A training track and other meadows.

Dad keeps the horses watered and fed when they go out of town.

Scooter and Hopper

Honeymoon

The day we were there he told us , "Now I have my dream come true."

Nothing makes parents more happy.

Today I share our happiness with all of my blogging buddies.

Go here to share the joy with others on Thursday the Happy Day.

Oh Peggy, this is such a beautiful post which makes my heart beam! It is truly a gift to see our children get what they really want in life and I hope you take the time to say to yourself, if only in a whisper, "well done, momma." Hugs to you always my lovely friend.
