Blogs full of blessings

This award button came to me a few weeks ago from
Simply Debbie.

Since today is Ash Wednesday
My resolution for this season of Lent is to use this
simple button to encourage bloggers that I follow and new ones I meet, who speak about their faith and truly aspire to share their faith with others.

That is what I love most about my experiences in blogland.
It makes my heart warm to receive something like this.
Read Debbie's words below and do what your heart tells you to do.

"This has been on my mind for a long time now...
An award to those bloggers who are not ashamed to post about
praying, faith and are the first ones to leave kind words
and prayers for those in need...
This award is about shining your light with boasting...
for being a prayer buddy without asking...
For going the extra mile to hug someone with your words...
It is for those who inspire faith,  hope and love in their posts...
There are no rules to this...
no lengthy protocol...
All you have to do to accept this award
is copy and paste it to your blog...
There is no minimum or maximum number
you have to pass it on to...
you don't have to pass it on to anyone...
and you can pass it on to everyone...
its up to you...
who inspires you?
Who has touched your heart?
You can pass this award onto anyone anytime...
if you run across a blog that you find later...
pass it on then...
So many of you have touched my heart
and lifted my soul.."

I joined Debbie's group of bloggers right in the middle of her beautiful daughter Amy's struggle with cancer.
I was with her all through that struggle, loss and still with her as she celebrates the life of her true angel in heaven.
So today
I would like to send this to

Cathy at http://bit-of-blarney.blogspot.com

Deanna
http://homehavenministry.blogspot.com

Be ready folks however, there are many more of you out there who I will be sending this to.
I so appreciate the freedom we have to discuss our faith and lend support to each other by way of the blogging world.

Alleluia

There are so many wonderful folks out there and many do not want awards, please whoever likes this take it and pass it on to someone who has counseled you through some rough times.
No rules.

Thanks Peggy for the award, sidebar button. I'll be putting it on my blog. Beautiful post. I've been reading a blog about a 36 year old girl named Amy who has cancer. Her blog is New Nostalgia. Just wondered if she is Debbie's daughter.
Blessings,
Nancy

Hello again,
I'm returning your visit to A Canadian Family.
Indeed, I have heard of the surname Filiatrault - it's very common here in Quebec. If you ever want help with the genealogy, and you know the name of one couple in Quebec (or elsewhere in Canada) then please let me know and I'll see what I can do.
