Monsaic Monday and Jingle Potluck Poetry

Hooking up with two memes today
Mosaic Monday with Mary
These are some of my doodle pages from the Sketchbook Challenge that my art teacher and some of my fellow students are in.

It has been a great challenge to work in the sketchbook daily for at least 15 minutes every day.
Great way to learn.

Based on above
A poem for Jingle Poetry Potluck Monday.

A Little More Each Day

I doodle away most of the day
Just lost in the color and the sway.
I leave my mind free to just move the pen
And sometimes I draw a duck or a wren.
The Sketchbook Challenge has been good for me.
It has relaxed my body and set my mind free.
It only last for just a few minutes each day
But one day I will sketch and just float away
To Lala Land and might decide to stay.
If I'm not at home just know Qmm is on the roam.
All because of a sketchbook challenge.

Those are great little doodles. My favorite is the second with all the details...it's like jewelry. (My great-grandfather was a doodler and much of his work has been saved. I have boxes of it. I may have to copy your idea and make a mosaic of it all. :D)

Your blog is very artsy, creative and inviting. You've inspired me to start a sketchbook. I will look at your crochet art. I'm also a weaver, sometimes knitter.
