update

As I can only sit for short period of time, I am  doing a short gratitude for the Thanksgiving period.
I so miss everyone and thanks for your good wishes and encouragement.
I am thankful for our current medical system that allows for quick treatment.
Hope it continues that way.
Yesterday I had my tendonitis shoulder taped into a position to prevent forward sag. LOL . Yes that is sag like in getting old.
I have an electronic stimulator attached to my back that emits little buzzes of electricity to break up the pain in the back.
It is called a TENS unit
Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation.
The ironic thing is, because I have had back problems for eons I already had one of these and had forgotten about it.
This is the worst episode I have had in some time.
Probably because of the fall I took a couple of weeks ago.
As soon as they hooked me up to one at the clinic I remembered I had one and immediately came home and got it going.
Now it is ice, TENS and rest.
The rest is the thing that gets me, I am stubborn and have all kinds of things I need to do.
That's God's way of telling me to slow down and smell the roses, even if they make me sneeze.
Won't have time to read and comment on all my blogger friends but just wanted to say Hi and I love you all sitting here in buzzer land. LOL
My physical therapist is one of my best friends and I love her dearly.
I put my trust in her.
She will have me up and going soon.
Blessings.

When my back went out, I could not stand or site for more than a minute or two. It hurt like heck to try to get through a shower.
