Sunday reflections

Dear God this week I have moaned and groaned about the pain I am experiencing in my hands.
I offer this pain up in thanksgiving for the gifts that You have given me.
I thank you for the gift of all the fresh vegetables that our son was able to raise for us and his family.
I am so sorry these are the last.

I ask for the strength to continue to use my hands in a pleasing way for you and to never cause harm with them.
I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Aww...this was sweet. I hope your hands feel better. I have arthritis in my thumbs. :(

That tomato look very yummy!

What a great way of surrendering your hands to our precious Savior - no better way to handle it too! Praying with you for them! Have a blessed day and thank you for such a delightful visit from a fellow grandma. :)

I hope your hands are better, soon. I do swear by the pain relief brought to my facet joints by Zeel.

Ah yes, arthritic hands, I understand. But I must admit to having to read your prayer more carefully. At first I thought you wrote: "I thank you for the gift of all the fresh vegetables that YOUR son was able to raise for us ..." Seriously, I did a bit of a double-take. :)
