Missed a few Thursdays, glad to be back.
Entrance to a new home for one of our children and family.
One of the oldest and at one time one of the most beautiful homes in our town.
Once in the middle of a huge plantation, now squeezed in between "progress" and no one wants.
Fenced in and coming down.
One of the oldest and most beautiful old plantations sitting right in the middle of town.
Too big and old to be moved, so sad.
A new look to our backyard neighbor's chain link fence.
Calla Lilies.

nice fences, Peggy.
Love the first fence. because it is new.
such a pretty, new entry for the family, the gray brick is beautiful!!!
it's always sad to see a lovely old home destroyed. the columns are so pretty and it looks like a nice, big front porch!!!
I really like the first shot with two fences - nice contrast.
Perfect photos for good fences! Glad to see you here today! Hugs!
sorry the old estate couldn't be salvaged, but i can understand the expense involved...
lovely hilly view in the first.
such a beautiful olden home...we had one in our town almost like it that, at one time, sit on a large plantation..then, it ended up almost in the middle of town. It was torn down to make room for a street leading to our loop. It nearly broke my heart.....
Looks like your kids have a nice fence in their new home.
Oh my it is so sad they are going to tear down that gorgeous old home.
Such pretty lilies growing by the last fence.
Great fence shots. How sad about the older home...progress is sometimes not such a good thing.
