These two grands had a wonderful time, just one week ago, at the party for our GD's graduation.
This week they lost their maternal Grand Dad.
Both of our families were close to each other and because of his illness he was not present at this celebration.
However it was a surprise and a very sad occasion for us all that he had passed.
He was a Deacon in the Catholic Church and the Celebration of Life was so uplifting.
These are our daughter's children and they are so mature and respectful we could not be prouder.
May he rest in peace.
Our grandson, in the yellow shirt, had just gotten home from 2 weeks on a work study program in Peru.
He had lost 20 pounds.
Hiking, different foods etc. sure trimmed him down.

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord".....how much he was blessed with that beautiful family! And now he can protect and guide them even more powerfully from his place of heavenly reward!
I am sorry for your loss, but proud of the bond of strength and love in your family
