Pink and orange are such great color combinations. I must try it someday! It would so nicely complement my little sage green haven. I like coneflowers and must look for the pink variety.

Happy fourth. My daughter just bought those cone flowers. Speaking of flowers, I was weeding and saw some strange weed, Could't make out what it was. well, it sprouted out in 4 different stems. Then yellow looking buds ( strange looking) running on each stem. (the way a holly hock looks) By now I look every day. Yesterday it had a beautiful purple flower ( like a clematis) plant is about 15 in. tall. Do you know what it is? yvonne
Your coneflowers look so great. I have never been able to grow them, for whatever reason. On my blog you left a comment about trying to grow lavender. It needs sharp drainage, so pots can be tough for them. And don't fertilize! Good luck, Sara
