Grand social and finding treasures with Tom

Combining two memes today.
This is a shot of our beautiful ourdoor theater
My Old Kentucky Home  Amphitheatre.
This is definitely a town treasure.
Every summer for over 50 years the story of Stephen Foster and his Jeannie with The Light Brown Hair is held here.
This is where Foster visited his cousin John Rowan of Bardstown and wrote many of his songs.
This is where he met Jeanie an fell in love with her.

If you watch this highlight you will see the Old Ky.Home in the trees in the background.

Beautiful bronze statue of Stephen Foster on the grounds of My Old Kentucky Home and the amphitheater.

They are all on the same property.

This is where our beautiful grand daughter's graduation from Bethlehem High School took place.

Definitely in a pensive mood with all her colors.

9th of our 10 grands have graduated.
One more next year.
So proud of all of them.

GD Hannah's last high school prom

As   our grands grow up and big changes come along I get in a melancholy mood and like to remember all of our fun times together, which are a lot different when they were small.

 Beautiful grand
Hannah
on her last high school prom date.

She will enter college in the fall.
Graduation from high school in a few weeks.

Sept 1998

1995 practicing wearing of the mortar board with Aunt Beth's hat.

Where do the years go?

Thanksgiving for all of our 10 grand blessings.
