Grand Social, catching up.

Due to computer problems missed a lot of blogging days.
Hope things are all good now.
Many things been going on.

Lost a dear friend in Mississippi.
A friend, a member of The Sisters of Charity right here in my home town was murdered in Mississippi last week.
Two of them served a poor section of the state as the only health care givers.
Both RN Practitioners.
May they rest in peace.

Precious ggson getting his hair cut for 2 yr. old preschool.

A mixed emotional day.
Grandson, Ben, being sworn into the U.S. Army.
Proud but bittersweet.

Beautiful gdaughter, Ellen, in her new dorm with my afghan at the foot of her bed.

Gdaughter, last first day of college.

Gdaughter, last first day of highschool in the pink.
Mosaic of all 4 years at the same school.
Yes, the same outfit, uniforms.
This is the last of our grands to finish high school.

Oh so very sorry about the loss of your friends. I saw the news story about the nuns being murdered. I cannot believe how there are so many horrible things we see each day. The pictures you share of your family are so beautiful. Hope your computer problems are over, I get so frustrated when this happens. Have a good week.

That was a horrible murder and I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that many people are feeling it keenly.

What beautiful grands you have. You must be so proud of Ben. Praying that his service will be a challenge and a blessing to him. He is certainly blessing his countrymen with his willing heart to serve. God bless him for it.

Your afghan looks beautiful on your granddaughter's bed. She has the most attractive dorm room! Blessings on all the grands as they go about their education. May it be a great year!
