Good Fences.

Entrance to Bernheim  Arboretum and  Reserch Forest near Bardstown,Ky.
See yesterday's post if you would like to know more about this place.

Small fence but it kept me out.
One of the longer hiking trails was closed.

This is where one enters the inner forest.

Sure would hate to be in there when it closes.
14,ooo acres.

The Rangers make sure everyone is out.

Straight up the hill.
When we first moved here years ago we were here every week hiking, picnicking or watching the deer and geese.

No hiking for us any more.

I would love to hike there! Right now it's too hot to hike in Florida. Even my evening walks are on hold. Enjoy your afternoon my friend. Hugs, Diane

Beautiful gate and fence, but I'm even more intrigued with the 14,000 acre natural forest! Looks like a beautiful location.
