About 1 month ago I received the yarn and pattern to make our 9th grandchild graduating from high school, an afghan.
They have each gotten one.
I was pretty worried I might not get it done on time
and yet here it is.
Ready for the binding and it will be finished.
Just the colors she wanted.
Graduation is next weed-end.
Just now received these photos from her last prom night.
Ellen and her prom date.
One more grand to graduate next year and that will be all of them.
I have already made the 2 new great grandsons christening blankets and caps.
Now If I live long enough they too will get afghans at graduation.
I will always have something going,I love yarn.

Awesome handmade gifts of love. :)
Ellen is a beauty! Nice to see more pictures of her. What a lovely gesture to share your loving warmth with hand stitched blankets and infant clothing! These gifts will be lasting tokens of the pride you have in those 11 grand - and great - children!
Wow on everything! Love those colors and it turned out so beautiful. Your grand daughter looks like a model, just beautiful. What a pretty dress. I think that if I was young and going to the prom I would like one such as this.
