There is nothing new and fresh about my home decor.
Mostly antiques and long ago bought things.
Very old, but in great condition. Cherry table my paternal grandmother gave to me.
Perfect bedside table.
The things hung above this table represent things I like the most.
My own paintings, literature and drama and my violin.
Looks like I missed the paintings.
This was an old oil lamp my father converted to an electric lamp.
Love it, especially the shade he selected.
I'm a sentimental person.
One can probably tell.
Finally found the yarn for our this year's graduating senior, from high school.
They have all gotten an afghan from Mamaw for their graduation to take to their dorm room.
Just found our Ellen's dorm room has teal as her highlight color.
Gonna take some fast work to get this done in time.
Linking up with Silver Pennies

Nothing wrong with keeping things that are old and loved if they serve their purpose. Some people feel the need to update often. I'm more about comfort. Very sweet of you to make afghans for all the grandkids. Happy Sunday!
What a beautiful oil lamp with a gorgeous hand painted shade!! Wishing you a wonderful evening, dear friend!
