Welcome blogging friends to
Pink Saturday.
This week is
Holy Saturday.
As Christians we celebrate the
Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
New life.
One of the things about spring that pleases me so is the new life we see around us.
Finally the rhododendrons are in full bloom.
The first of our pink flowering plants in our landscape.
They are situated on the East side of our home getting morning sun up until about 12 pm then in the shade the rest of the day.
That is the way they like it.
They do not last long and since Easter is early this year I will have rhododendron to decorate for Easter.
Seems the different light makes for a different color.
The ones above are from the bush shown below.
Today is Holy Saturday.
A time to reflect on the ultimate gift that God gave us in his Only Begotten Son.
The most important things in my life
faith and family
Looks like we posed leaving a spot for our eldest
son who lives far from us and is not here very often.
Blessed Easter to all.

Pretty blooms. A nice new blog header. Have a blessed Easter.
Hi Peggy. I love azaleas and rhododendron. Your blooms are beautiful in the yard and on the mantel. I only have one azalea and no rhododendron at my Kentucky house. I'm going to need to work on that.
Your flowers are breathing. Nothing I enjoy more than pretty flowers.
You have a great looking family. May you and all of them have a very blessed week.
