Sentiments about old Christmas ornaments and a rough start to the New Year.

Began taking some of my Christmas decorations down Sunday and I was reminiscing about the tree ornaments.
Have had them forever but would never trade them for anything.
Just have a small tree now days but the ornaments are still beautiful

Bought this set of white with all the ribbons, beads, gold and white angels, sleighs, rocking horses, bells, hearts and white poinsettias years ago.

I think I will keep them forever.

 This one is my favorite.
The angel blowing the praises to
Jesus.

The next thing for our family celebrations is for several birthdays in January

Our 25 year old grandson, who lives far away from us, is in the hospital in Austin Tx, due to a work related accident.
This happened New Year's Eve.

He is a professional Skateboarder and ironically the
accident had nothing to do with skateboarding.
He teaches and makes instructional videos to teach folks to skateboard.
He is young and strong and has a crushed right calf.
If you believe in prayer will you say a prayer him and us.
We want to go out there but my husband and I neither one are up to the trip.

We have faith he will recover normally and as he says
"I'm in good spirits Mamaw."

Your tree and special White ornaments is gorgeous!
I loved your visit and that you also have a prayer group. It feels my heart when I prepare for the last wednesday of every month for our Rosary gathering.

We are usually 15, sometimes we're all and others less. I also serve a very humble tea afterwards, such as bread, some cheese and jam.
The cake I baked was a special treat for the last Rosary of 2015.

Never the less we pray for the sick and needed, as much as we thank all the goodness we have received thru this past year and always.
I will send prayers for your grandson for a prompt recover...and yes, I truly believe in prayer.

Have a very happy and blessed new year.

Very sorry to learn about your precious grandson's accident, I will certainly be joining you in prayer for his total recovery. Glad that he is in good spirits. That goes a long way.

Your tree is just lovely. I am still happily enjoying the tree and the lights. I love thinking about the ornaments ...each one has a story.
