Pink Saturday-Gifts for the ages.

55 years since I married.
The handkerchief below was given to me by my mom on the day I married.
The ring box was also a gift from her.
The gold bracelet was also hers.
It is hard to tell how old that bracelet is.
I wear the bracelet a lot.

My mom's favorite color, as you might guess, was pink.
She made her own clothes and she wore a beautiful pink outfit to our wedding that she had made herself.

Such pretty treasures...my mama gave me many things, too...I have them all around me...a beautiful chiming clock, a large jar of her sewing notions, her olden Singer sewing machine, a pink jewelry box, so many things....I will leave them all plus other things to MY children...and then on down to their children. The circle of life...

Happy Pink Saturday! I have the handkerchief I carried as a bride. We had 45 wonderful years together before my husband passed on last year. It's nice to know our little treasures will be loved by the next generations.

So pleased to find you once again, via BJ's blog.
I too have some treasured items of jewellery left by my mother, wouldn't part with them!
