Soulfood Life Friday
What touched my soul this week.
Tomorrow is our youngest daughter's birthday.
She will be 39.
She called me tonight and said,
"Mom I was thinking about you tonight since I will 39 tomorrow and that is how old you were when I was born."
What a wonderful thing to do.
To think about your mom on the eve of your birthday.
She was the 6th of 6 beautiful children God had gifted us with.
She likes for me to tell her the story of the heavy snow fall that hit on the eve of her birthday.
We lived about 30 miles from the hospital where I was to go but it was at least 2 hours getting there on the icy roads.
We left our house at 3:30 in the morning and I barely got to the hospital in time.
She was born at 5:30 A.M.
She loved to go on walks with her dad and he would teach her all about bugs and plants or just anything they might want to talk about.
She has attained a Master's Degree in Social Work and is a whiz at helping others with life's problems.
Happy Birthday sweet Beth.
We love all the way to the moon and back.

Your beautiful daughter is younger than my beautiful daughter...hope that she had a wonderful birthday. I have a friend who always spends her birthday with her mother. She says it's because they were in it together on that day and they will be together on that day until. My daughter does not buy into that at all. LOL
