FSO-theme- Sculpture



Friday shoot out

There are many sculpture in Bernheim Forest just down the road from us.
All of them are made from natural products.








This bronze of Stephen Collins Foster is located in the garden of
My Old Kentucky Home
where it is said he wrote Jeanne with The Light
Brown Hair.




This bronze is located in front of the local hospital, donated by a private family.
Jesus the Good Shepherd.



This was also donated by a family.
Jesus the healer, located in the hospital garden.

They are all lovely and I agree with Scriptor, the last one is very realistic. The body language tells the story.

I like that last one too, in the way it combines 'history' and present time (I mean Jesus dressed in the traditional clothes of his time on earth, but the girl in modern dress, and yet communicating)
