My favorite, Marinated Kale Salad

My daughter's Peanut butter and marshmellow
Holiday ball.

How I got my kids to eat veggies,
hidden in my Shepherd's Pie.

No cook Christmas Coconut
Balls.

I must say getting your kids to eat veggies is sometimes hard.
I think sometimes they just want to see how stubborn they can be.

I came upon the Shepherd Pie which, of course, is meatloaf covered in mashed potatoes and cheese.
I put as many veggies, onions, peppers, carrots, even peas in and they ate it without even thinking.
Of course that was a long time ago but my grand kids loved it too.
I still fix it for HH and I.
I love it.

These are wonderful and making me hungry! The downward perspective of the salad is terrific, and the colorful dish and fork angled to the side compliment the food. And you can tell the second photo is for the holidays, thanks to the props - Christmas mugs, an elf, & liquor! LOL, I like how you trick your kids and grandkids into eating more veggies.

Thank you for participating once again, sweetie!

Your Shepherd's Pie looks delicious! I think I make a China pie and should switch to a Shepherd's pie!

Hello Peggy
You've managed to capture appealing angles for your food. I too have been sneaky, but with my husband by blending parsnips into mashed potatoes.

Oh Peggy all the shots are excellent. The coconut balls on that pretty plate are making me want to start thinking about Holiday baking........but the kale salad is what I'd most like to be making for supper perhaps today!

Like how you got above the food and have shared really good shots.

Enjoy your week - Mary

These are such appetizing photos. I like the overhead perspective, especially on the shepherd's pie. That's a meal that will never go out of style. Adding vegetables is sneaky, but I think every mom does it.
