This is not about my skills but about a friend's skills at folk art and home and garden decor.
A friend who brings much JOY into our lives.

Had lunch on Tuesday with my paint class friends.

We take turns.
Vickie is a Master Gardener in our town.
I have been hearing about her garden for a few years and finally got to visit.

Our august teacher Marilyn on left
Debbie, we call her swifty.
Carmen, our West Coast gal
Barbara, Miss Manners
Vickie, our hostess.
I took this shot.

Yours truly on left with Miss Vickie taking the photo.
The table spread is from Germany where they lived for some time and where most of the items in their home came from.
A most delicious lunch.

After oohing and aahing over her beautiful home.

Play room for their grands.

Tea Sets from Germany

Headboard for a shelf with try painted by Vickie

 From the Master's Garden.

Kitchen collection.

Guest room, The Tray Room, trays all painted by Vickie

Vickie's master bedroom

From Germany.
Painted by Vickie and her German friend.

Living room fire place.
My question, as yours may be, how did they get all of this from Germany?
They sailed on a liner.
These shots don't begin to show all the marvelous rooms in her home.
The Man Cave is amazing.
I started by saying Vickie is a Master Gardener.
Gonna leave the garden for another post, however.

Your friend Vickie is a talented lady. And it's so good to see your smiling face. So glad you handed the camera over to another photographer.
