My hydrangea bushes are on the far side of my house and I sometimes forget to look to see how they are doing.
It wasn't long ago all I saw was green but now
they are out.
My first bouquet of the season.
One of my favorite flowers.
The bushes need a little trimming out and shaping up.
Got my work cut out for me this week.
Wonder if one of those grands want to help.
Oops several of them are out of the state on vacations.
May have to work alone.
Gardening is good for the soul.
Hard on the muscle and this old back but will just take it slow and enjoy.

Oh Peggy, if it weren't for my push up kneeling bench I would never do Gardening. Love your flowers.
Did you stay at the MonHonk House ,in New Paltz, tell me about it.
By the way pace yourself with Gardening, it is cool here in the mornings.
Your gardening certainly won't be as much fun without the helpers! I love that hydrangeas take their color from the acidity of the soil. I have a beautiful pink one blooming -- together we would have a really beautiful bouquet! Just stopping by from the GRAND Social Linky Party. Hope you get a chance to do the same!
Hydrangea bushes are real show stoppers aren't they. My outside time is usually early morning and late evening.
Lovely hydrangea! :) Have a wonderful 4th of July! :)
My Dad's hydrangeas were pink and he used to put half a ton of iron in the soil each year in the hope of turning them blue - without success.
