Bridges

I live about 60 miles south of the Ohio River.
There are 3 bridges from Louisville. Ky. into Indiana.
This shot was taken on one of the 3 bridges of the other two going from Ky. into Indiana.

This shot was taken not far from my home.
At one time the family crossed this covered bridge to the home on the hill.
Recently the home owner restored this covered bridge and the old sedan stays parked here.
It is quite a site to see in our neck of the woods.

Also taken in my neighborhood.
Just a foot bridge across a stream of water at the bottom of a hill in our neighborhood.

A private bridge to a beautiful home in our town.

Bridge on my violin.
Hard shot to get with one hand.

You've shown us that covered bridge before and I love it. The bridge on the violin is not only a good shot but a great idea for the theme.

You play the violin as well? Is there no end to your talents? Lovely bridge photos.

Another covered bridge. It must be an American thing, to have wooden bridges. They are lovely.

So clever of you to include your violin bridge!

That old sedan beside the restored covered bridge makes the shot for me. So interested to see the unique perspectives everyone's bringing to this theme - bridge of a nose, violin bridge, etc. Wonderful creativity on your part.

The old sedan is the perfect accessory to the restored covered bridge. The owners must get alot of people stopping to take photographs. I really like your creativity, including your violin bridge. I've seen a few non-traditional interpretations of the theme so far and look forward to seeing who else was thinking outside of the box!

These are all good, but I particularly like the one of the foot bridge. It's sort of sweet and lonely all at the same time, and black and white was a great choice.

Nice work.

I really like the variety in your bridge shots. Each type is quite different. Nice pics.

Very nice shots. I see we had similar thought patterns in that we both chose musical instruments to interpret the theme.

The old style car fits very well with that covered bridge.

An excellent job with this month's theme. I love that the old car sits by the covered bridge. Americana! Nice work!

Love the mix of bridges in your post. Especially the last one! I took a few liberties with my last photo too. :-)
