Life of Pi- Share the Joy

About 5 years ago I read a book entitled
"Life of Pi"
I loved it.
Later I heard there was a movie being made.

I could hardly wait to see this beautiful and fascinating story on film.

It was nominated for best picture and did win in some special effects category.

I may be mistaken but I am thinking that Ang Lee won best director.

I also saw Argo, the film that did win and I liked this one better.

I watched the movie last night.

What JOY to see a character of such simplicity and strength come to life on the screen.

One of the most interesting parts of the story is how he got his name 'Pi.'

That's all I'm saying.

I recommend this movie to any one who is a movie watcher.
I got it on Amazon streaming, it is not on Kindle Fire yet.

Watch and enjoy the personification of faith on film.

I watched Life of Pi last year but I have never the book. Usually I get to watch the film first. If it leaves some impact on me, I search the book to read it and don't stop until I find it. Thanks for dropping by my nook, Peggy. Have a great weekend ahead.

Haven't seen it yet, and I don't remember reading the book, so maybe it's time for some entertainment.
