Grandparents say----

Love being a Granny

During the Easter period I usually have soft boiled eggs and then wash and paint the shells and fill them with candy.

Am off to our granddaughter's Confirmation today and you can see I am not quite finished with these.
I will paint faces on them.

Our Easter Egg Tree.
Each egg has goodies in it and there is a designated color for each grand.
They are too old for an Easter Egg Hunt but still want something special for them.

One year we had a paint the rock contest.
This one won. I am not sure why I still have it the others took theirs home.

One of my dear blogger friends sent us this for
Easter.
She is into jewelry and wire and soldering.
I just love it.

I love your painted eggs -- what a cute idea! Hope you have a wonderful Easter. Just stopping by from the Say it Saturday Linky Party. Hope you get a chance to do the same!

I have very fond memories of having Easter egg hunts in my Mammaw's backyard in Mississippi. My Aunt Dot would place different amounts of money in plastic eggs for us to find, too. We all loved that! You are making great memories for your grandkids. Have a wonderful day. Tammy

Love the way you use soft-boiled egg shells, filled with candy, and displayed in the egg tree frame. How clever!
