Frozen in time

Theme this week took a lot of thought.
Literally I could find nothing frozen in time around here as anything that freezes eventually thaws out.

I took this photo of my only sister, her husband and five children.
Five years later she was gone.

She died at age 32.

I will never see her again or see her with white hair like I have.

I will see her as beautiful and as young as she was when she died, as long as I live.

This image is truly a moment  "Frozen in Time"
for me.

This photo was taken by her at the same time.
We were married in a double wedding.
She had 5 children and I had 3 in 1967.

I am so sorry you lost your sister. Aren't you glad you have this photo? Your post is a lovely tribute. How neat that you shared a wedding day. Were you twins?

I'm sure you don't need those photos to remember your sister and the special day you shared. Our memories are wonderful things, aren't they?

lovely tribute Peggy, guess the lesson we learn is to capture the morments, as many as possible and when the camera isn't handy say, "I am saving this moment in my mind's eye" Hoping that you are having a great day.

So generous of you to share this tribute/memory of your sister here. The photo truly does "freeze" a moment in time but keeps your own memory of that time and of your sister alive and glowing in your mind and heart.
