Friday Shoot My Town-Best gift ever.

Friday Shoot Out
theme
Gifts
Gifts - Birthday gifts, Mitzah gifts, Hanukkah gifts, Christmas gifts.
Highlight your gift giving occasions or share a special gift.

This was from my best girlfriend.

Oh No.

That is my mom sitting to the right of me.
She got as big a kick as I did.

Look at that flash on the camera in the right corner.Man that really dates it.

When I was 22 my friends gave me a birthday party.
This was in 1960.
I was dating my future husband and he was sitting to the left of me.
When I opened this gift I almost fainted.
I had never seen a pair of undies this big.
My best girlfriend had found them at a department store where they were high upon a display in the undies department.
How she managed to get them I don't remember.
There is a photo somewhere of Tom in one leg and I in the other.
I wanted to show you that photo so bad but cannot find it.

There I was 5'4" and weighing 100 lbs.
I laughed so hard I cried.

So much fun! I loved catching up on your posts - that geranium is striking! Your manger scene is very special indeed! And that water lily is glorious!!
